Perfect everyday watch for women!

This is a perfect everyday watch. My wrist is pretty thin, about 5.5" in circumference, and I can use the 3rd (for a tighter fit) and 4th (for a looser fit) notches on the band. I love this watch because the size of the face and thickness of band don't overwhelm my small wrist and hand (about 6" long from wrist to the tip of my middle finger). It is also lightweight, and the face is easy to read day or night (yay for indiglo!) The band also comes with not one, but two loops that help hold the rest of the band in place after you put on your watch, so there won't be that extra bit sticking out and bothering you while you're going about your day. I would really recommend this watch for someone who wants a really good functioning casual watch that still looks a bit feminine (small but readable face and reasonable band width).

Tiny face dial of 20mm inside a 26mm case!

So far, 5 stars. Been a few months and am still enamored.

Other people have said everything that needs to be said about this watch so I'm going to just add that the tan version has no 24hours additional numbers behind the standard 12hours so it's a cleaner, simpler face which I happen to prefer. No date either, which is great.

I thought the dial itself would be 26mm in diameter but it turns out the whole case is 26mm and the dial itself is 20mm, which is again exactly what I would have liked better. So, lucky me! But it might be too tiny for some.

The strap it comes with is not as good as the picture, the natural color is not as bright but a bit of a dirty off creme instead. But still quite alright. I personally am going to change the straps with something better. What matters is the dial itself to me.

Indiglo works amazingly well.The numbers don't glow but the hands do after they've been exposed to enough sunlight.

All in all, ah I'm so happy with this purchase

All around, the watch is great. But then I noticed that the indiglo has shifted up a bit that the bottom part of the dial is not illuminated. (See closeup picture). Then I also noticed that my partner's Timex has the same issue and his is the upscale chronographed model so am not sure whether it's just our watches or if this is a Timexesque issue.

Also, the ticking is a bit loud. Not as loud as my old Swatch, but quite noticeable at times. I can hear the ticking when driving, waiting for the green light, hands on the steering wheel, playing no audio. Faint but once you hear it you can't unhear it.

Still happy though.

Rugged lightweight watch

This is now my 3rd one. I wear each one until the battery dies in about 2 years and then buy another rather than replacing the battery as I then also get a new watchband. Obviously, I love this watch. My Seiko sits in a drawer and is only used for special dressy occasions. The watch is lightweight and waterproof so I wear it 24/7 never removing it. Great for work (medicine I need a second hand), showers, washing dishes, yard work, beach, everything. I love the Indiglo light as I am a natural early riser (am writing this review at 5:50 am) and can quickly check the time to make sure I have gotten my 7 hours of sleep without using any bright lights. Not the most stylish watch but passable for all but the fanciest of occasions. Perfect for me- Timex better keep making it!!

but so far I really love this watch

I've only had this watch for a few days, so I can't speak about longevity, but so far I really love this watch. I'm on Chemo, and have lost so much weight that my regular Timex with expansion band was twirling round my wrist, and sliding up and down my arm. This watch is just perfect for me, with it's adjustable watchband (not overly long). Love the light up face, too. Sturdily built. I based this purchase on many years of owning Timex watches. I've always had very good luck with them. Definitely recommend!

Perfect color, lights up, and water resistant! Perfect price! Perfect watch!

LOVE IT!!! My old old tan Expedition watch with a brown leather band and tan face is, sadly, almost dead :( I said ALMOST!!! It will probably "keep on ticking", but it's losing time.

I went online not expecting to find the same watch, and I was right! BUT, this one is GREEN!!! My FAVORITE shade of GREEN!! Both the face and the band! I had to wait 3 years for Subaru to build an Outback in my shade of green and now I have a matching watch!

There is no little date thingy like on the other watch. It was never right anyway, so I don't care. It wasn't right because I never set it, nor could I see it. So that's gone, but the Indiglo (the face lights up at night if you push the stem) is way brighter than the old one! I'll be able to easily see the time at night while in my car or on an evening walk with my dogs. It's water resistant, a requirement of mine, since I would never remember to remove it during a shower.

I like it a lot, but maybe not for everyone.

I like this watch .. I usually bought the easy reader style so I could see the dial without my reading glasses. I recently had cataract surgery and now I can read a smaller watch. This has a nice sporty look. The indiglo feature is nice and bright. There is no date number, if you care about that. There are 24 hour time markers, but they are too small for me to see. I have a small wrist but I can still wear this with a couple of holes to spare. I like the watch band a lot so I hope it lasts awhile.

An attractive watch with a reasonable price tag

I only received my watch 2 days ago so I can only comment on the appearance:

The face is clean and easy to read - no date which I prefer. The face of the watch I received is a little darker than the "off white" of the picture. I would describe the color as light beige. Size given is correct (26mm) about the size of a quarter. The case is metal and is a good weight - not too heavy for comfort, but no so light it slides around on your wrist. The hands are not luminous - the face of the watch lights up when you press the stem. I really find this feature very handy. It is an attractive casual watch. Just what I wanted. I would have given 5 stars but I don't like the band and I'm looking for a replacement. It is identified as "leather" but it's cheap leather and it's stiff. A dark brown which goes well with the face, but I don't like the fabric inserts and the stitching is a strange sort of light orange, however, it's all a matter of taste. Also the band is way too long for my small wrist another reason I'm checking out "short" bands. Over all I'm pleased and the price was extremely reasonable. This is my first Timex so I hope I got a reliable one and will check in later to give a short review.

Sadly had to return this watch as it was erratic about keeping time! BUT after looking at many other watches and not being able to find one that was "just what I wanted" AND a reasonable price, and the right size for my small wrist - I ordered another! Hopefully this one will be relliable. I JUST ADDED A FIFTH STAR. I BOUGHT THIS WATCH IN NOV 2017 IT'S NOW JAN 2019 AND IT'S TICKING AWAY PERFECTLY. Works well and looks great

I've had this watch a few months and really like it. It is very comfortable to wear and appears to have a solid build, not flimsy and cheap like some other watches at this price point. I wanted something for everyday wear that looked nice for work and casual but wasn't expensive so if it was damaged, it wasn't a big deal. The face is easy to read and is about the size of a quarter. The Indiglo feature works well and is very bright and easy to read in the dark. The watch hands are also luminous. It does NOT have a date feature but honestly, I didn't want it. Its not loud - you can hear the watch ticking only if you put it near your ear.

I normally have metal watch bands so I wasn't sure I would like the leather and fabric band on this watch but I do - it is very comfortable. I have 6.5" wrists and there is room to adjust the band smaller or larger and the extra band fits in a second loop which can be moved but stays put once you adjust. I haven't really tested the water resistance other than a few splashes and briefly submerging it once. Overall, I'm very happy with this watch and would buy it again.

 Just what I wanted

This watch is exactly as described and I am very pleased with it. I wear a watch all the time except when I am in the shower and I love the indiglo light so that I can look at the time when I wake up at night. It is bright enough to see but not so bright that it wakes my husband or dogs. It is a smaller sized face, but it is clear and easily readable.Thesecond hand is cool and ticks like a clock. The band is very cute khaki and brown color and has 10 whole for easy positioning on the wrist. This is very important to me because I have tiny wrists and it is very hard to find watches that fit right. Good product at a good price. I would highly recommend.

Very happy with this purchase

The wife's inexpensive Timex watch that she bought back in the nineties for her hospital tech work finally ticked its final tock about a year and a half ago. All this time we've been looking for a replacement she could learn to love as much as that old watch.

We've only had it a little over a month, but she was like a kid with her new watch. Constantly showing me what time it was in the dark (because, "Indiglo"), LOL. The point being that she loves her new watch and if it manages to "live" as long as the last one, it will be a winning purchase.

As of now, I am very pleased with the response this watch has elicited from her.

My tiny wrist normally needs an extra hole punch, but this wristband has enough holes that even go beyond how small my wrist is. Completely gender neutral, they should be marketing it for kids and teens as well, since it's so small. My 9 year old wants one too! Watch face is about the size of a quarter.

If you hold the side button, the whole face glows in the dark, but I find the watch hands glow slightly on their own enough to read it by at night. Really convenient.

I also deal with 24 clocks a lot for work, and my brain just translates the time regularly, but having it visually in front of my eyes is something I didn't know I wanted.

My only gripe is that it is not solid leather on the band. That mesh, over time, seems like it could become pretty grimey. Mesh needs soap and scrubbing, while I could just wipe leather off. The interior of the band though, is butter soft full leather.

Timex is the go-to brand for simple, reliable, utilitarian watches. I've been wearing this watch for about a week now and I'm happy with my purchase. High notes: comfortable band, unobtrustive ticking, and attractive in a simple, outdoorsy way.

The only complaint I've got is minor: the canvas insert on the band is rough and collects fuzz from fluffy/fleece sweatshirts and blankets. It's not uncommon for the band to look unattractively fuzzy as a result, kind of like a sweater that pills up. It's no big deal to get the fuzz off, but it's something you'll be doing regularly if you wrap up in fluffy blankets or wear a lot of fleece.

All in all, it's a nice little watch and I quite enjoy wearing it. 5-stars, easy.

I’ve been wearing this watch for about a month and so far it has lived up to the old Timex reputation. It has taken a licking (swimming, showering, all-day dog walks with multiple dogs) and it has kept on ticking! It is NOT A JUMBO FACED WATCH. I saw a lot of reviews where people deducted because it wasn’t as big as they wanted it to be, which hardly seems fair since it is exactly as big as it is stated to be. I need reading glasses and I’ve found that if my eyes aren’t quite fully focused I can just hit the Indiglo button to make it backlit and I can read it without fail, but most of the time it is very easy for me to read. It looks good, is comfortable to wear, and I love the Indiglo function.

I love this model Timex so much. It's just the right size for a woman's sport watch - not too big and not too tiny. The band is very cool with cotton webbing inset into an oiled leather band. And the Indiglo light is the perfect brightness to check at night without blinding yourself. My only gripe is that it seems impossible to find these bands when you need a replacement - I've generally resorted to just buying a whole new watch (which frankly isn't that much more expensive than most quality Timex replacement bands). One of the highest value-to-price purchases I've made.

I have to write this review because I wear this watch every day and every day I'm reminded how much I love it. First, it fits great; it provides a lot of options. One watch I received as a gift was too small and made me wonder if I have the infamous "big bones" so I was worried but this one I think would fit almost anyone. I like the extra loop on the band.

It looks quite stylish, good enough for all but super dressy functions. It makes me look like I like the outdoors and nature but I can wear it to business meetings or to dinner and not feel out of place.

I love being able to check the time in a meeting when looking at my phone would be awkward. I love that it lights up and that I can check the time even if I'm out of cell phone range.

I have small hands and tiny wrists, and the watch fits well and looks good on me--the proportions are very nice. I have the band on the next-to-the-last hole, because the last one was just a bit snug, so there's plenty of room to accommodate larger wrists.

Bought exactly 2 years ago today and the battery finally gave out. It says 8 years but it didn't last that for me. To be fair, I wore it every day for 2 years and used the light up function requently. The band still looks pretty good and I used it snorkeling multiple times in salty water. It was great when I hiked to Everest Base Camp! The battery is CR1216 in case you need to replace. It looks like CR1218 stamped on the back, but if you open it up it's 1216. Overall, I've been impressed by this watch. I usually tear through a watch's band in 6 months and this one probably has another year or two in it.

I love all the "Easy to Read' ladies watches because they have black numbers, black hands and Indigo lighting for a green glow to see the time if you wake up during the night. This one is the "Expedition Field" watch which adds some variety to the basic watch. I love the basic brown, solid strap for another style but this is a nice change. The second hand is red. The size is still 25 mm and a standard size for "Easy to read" ladies watches and (not the big 30 mm face, which I personally dislike. ) The face has a beige background, tiny black minute marks and this one has a beige nylon woven inset, outlined with a medium brown leather. The strap is extra long but lays neatly. I love it. ( it also has another choice of a black woven inset in the watchband.) they do put these on sale between Thanksgiving and Christmas, or look around at different sites. the regular price is good but the sale price is a steal. Batteries are replaceable, ask for the repairman to try to keep the Indigo lighting working when replacing the battery.

The ticking of the watch takes some getting used to. The ticking is very faint but noticeable. I love this watch! I think I have small wrist at times and it is very hard to find a watch that doesn't take over my arm. I figured I would give this a try... I'm glad I did. It is perfect. I am in the Army and have used this watch when I'm in uniform and have used it when I dress casual.... It fits everything! The only thing that could make the watch better is by adding a dial for the date. Other than that, I would definitely rebuy this!

I have bought 5 of this model over time because I like the size, the leather (instead of faux leather which cracks and breaks) and the water tightness. I don't need to remove it whenever I get into water. I have even worn it when I swim. I have had to replace the watch when, after replacing the battery, it never seems to reseal sufficiently to keep it water tight and eventually the watch is ruined. I shall continue buying this model until I am forced to look elsewhere.

I got this watch to fill a requirement my pre-hospital medical response training called for. A wrist watch with two hands. The hands are outlined, giving them a bolder appearance and easier to distinguish. The numbers on the face are also large enough for my poor eyesight. There is an area of where the added light is absent, at the very bottom, which I notice but does not impede on its effectiveness. The light itself is a useful touch. I have not ventured to take it into the shower, but I've had no problem just washing dishes with it on. The material feels sturdy and I have already gotten compliments on it. A recommended purchase if you need a traditional watch without the bells and whistles, but good quality.

This is one of the best watches on the market. And the price is extremely reasonable.

It's a ladies' watch that is feminine enough looking to wear at work or in a similar professional setting, but it is also rugged enough looking to do your favorite tomboy activities. I wear mine, literally, 24/7. I don't take it off when I swim, shower, sleep, etc.

The light in it is awesome for when I wake up in the middle of the night. No need to sleep with my phone or a bedside alarm clock to check the time.

The watch is durable for knocking around and wear and tear, and the waterproof function is terrific -- the face never clouds or gets water inside or etc. I swim with it, water ski, go tubing, etc. Also, the battery lasts at least two or three years and is inexpensive to replace.

This is actually the second Timex Women's Expedition Metal Field Mini Watch that I have purchased. I bought the first one years ago. I eventually wore out the watch band, and I could not find a similar replacement band. When that happened, I thought it might be a good time to try out one of those new fitness watches -- but my fitness watch did not come with adequate user instructions, and it turned into a total waste of money -- so I decided to just go back to my well-worn, well-loved standby, and I ordered my current Timex Expedition, exact same model as the first.

This watch is terrific!

Usually the face is too big... this is more petite. I have a 6 1/2 in wrist and there are still 3 band holes to make it smaller. The face only lights up when you are pushing the button, as many mentioned as a negative. It is so bright that I think it would be annoying if it stayed on the whole time. It is not a pretty watch but a useful one. I purchased the black band and silver face surround.

The reason I said 5 stars "for now" is my last Timex watch or two have not lasted long. Timex used to be "takes a licking and keeps on ticking". That no longer seems to be the case. I hope this watch holds up better than previous one.

I have ordered this watch multiple times over the years. I love it to swim with and not have to remove as it is water resistant to approx 10 feet. Its great for nighttime to light up and see the time. And its fashionable. Top notch and battery life is easy 3-4 yrs. Only drawback is when u try to change the battery and break the seal, it really is NOT water resistant any longer. I’m sure that is true with other brands of watches as well. After breaking the seal the water will seep in every so sightly and the clock face will fog up and build condensation. Having said that for the reasonable price just replace it. It’s a great watch and I highly recommend it

I bought this watch for a trip overseas after hearing that Timex had a watch that lit up at night with the simple push on the winder. This is very handy when traveling. I guess the final thing I want to say is that the watch is attractive. It's not huge, but just the right size. I think this is the perfect watch for sport or for every day use. Leave it at home if you're going to meet the Queen, though!

I was afraid that it might be the end of its life as it was probably twenty five years old so I priced the new ones in the store, but watch prices started at more that $150.00. I Googled for the same watch I had, and it popped up on Amazon Prime priced for less than I paid for it twenty five years ago! What I like best about it (besides keeping perfect time) is the indiglo feature as I don't have to turn on the light to check the time. That's a joy when sleeping in a tent. The thing I would like this watch to have is a nylon strap rather than a leather one. I have had to replace the battery (on the old one) about a half dozen times and the strap maybe as many times, but hey, the leather does break when it gets wet from rain and snow, and forgetting to take it off in the shower. I've worn this watch almost every day since last July (it's June now), and it's still just fine. I've whacked it on walls and dunked it in fish tanks several times, and no harm was done. I didn't soak the watch in water for a long period of time, but it was fine for quick immersions. The previous leather band watch I bought split along the seam, but this one's still intact and looks like it will be for quite some time. The watch band would ft a pretty wide range of wrist sizes; for reference mine are 6" circumference, and I use the 2nd to smallest hole.

Durable, looks pretty nice for every day wear, would buy again.

First a disclamer: I have always liked Timex watches. I had a similar watch for over 15 years, and would not have bought this except i lost the last watch. So, my experience has always been positive. In fact the other watch went thru 2 battery replacements and a new watch band and was still going strong and looking good.

This watch is solidly built and well finished. Although the price is reasonable, it does not at all seem cheap. The band is leather and fabric. The indigo is bright enough to read, not blinding. The glow in the dark hands are amusing, but the indigo makes them superfluous. My only quible is that I cannot see the date without glasses. Overall I am delighted that Timex continues producing quality watches.

Updated: I noticed a chip on one side of the face today and got to inspecting really closely, Turns out that the glass cover on the face of the watch sits unevenly and as a result it is higher on one side. The higher side has the chip. Unfortunately I start school tomorrow and cannot return the watch before I get a new one so I may be stuck with it. Make sure you check your watch face sits flush before you really need it!

Perfect for my tiny wrists, I do wish the backlight stayed on for a couple of seconds when you pressed the button. That was not advertised, it is just something I would ideally have in 'the perfect watch'. Also worth nothing that the listed color options actually have more variation than just color. The cream face and black/brown band has a 12 and 24 hour format and the others do not seem to. Pay close attention to the subtle differences in the faces in the pictures, as they are accurate. so far it has done just fine through the copious amounts of hand washing it has already endured. I did replace the watch band with a silicone type because the band it came with was so nice and had real leather on it and I bought it to get me through nursing school so it'll be getting wet a bunch. I voted on this one over the Speidel because I know Timex better as a brand and the other company had a lot of reviews that suggested lack of durability. Plus this option was way smaller and cheaper than the only option they had for a back lit watch. The band was very easy to change out and I did it by myself in about 3 minutes. Watch came with batteries installed and I forget the battery size it takes, but it is something that you can easily look up online and buy on Amazon also. Overall I love it. It would be perfect if the hands did glow and if the face glow feature had an option to keep the light on while not pressing the button, also a date feature would really save me time. I knew the watch didn't have these features when I bought it and it perfectly lives up to the more realistic expectations I had of the included features.

This watch is great and comfortable, but it needs some improvements. First, the backlight doesn't fill the entire back of the watch - there's a little sliver at the bottom that doesn't light. For how often I use the backlight it doesn't bother me too much, but it's noticable. Second, I wish the watch had a date feature on it. For being an "Expedition" and adventure watch, I'd want it to have the date. Lastly, I haven't tested the water proofing yet, but I don't think I'd swim with it (like I'd do if I were on an adventure). I still really like this watch, but I'm left wanting slightly more from it and its design.

Update 9/7/2020: I've showered with the watch a few times and air dried it after - it's great! Still wish it had a date, but it'll be coming with me for adventures (when adventures can be had again)

This is advertised as a Mini watch and water resistant to 165 ft-which is a confusing description. It's like saying a woman is or isn't pregnant. So I asked the community. The seller stated what was in the description about being water resistant. Most of the answers suggested to not wear in the shower or swimming-so I will take their advice. Also I would not say this is a mini watch -however it is nice to be able to read it easily.

All that being said-I do like the watch very much. I especially like being able to use the light at night to check the time. The band is a nice two-tone color and as said above, reading the watch is very easy and is very nice looking. I would say for the price this is a good purchase and I would recommend.

I disagree with some reviews about the attractiveness of this watch if one is dressing up, it is a winner with me. This is a tough watch, but nice to look at and nice to wear. I am a Timex fan as I can be a bit tough on watches and they do stand up. I lean towards leather bands because of the longevity of leather verses metal. There is an issue of the leather not being the greatest. It is not soft and has that imported feel which is disappointing especially for Timex. I did condition the heck out of the band which is probably why it wears so nicely now. But consumers shouldn't have to do that right away. The fabric portion does get dirty easily so watch (lol) for that. Came in original box, original everything. Overall happy so far with this attractive little watch.

It's a pretty good watch, but the green one doesn't have the 24-hour marks and is a little harder to read, especially if you use the light in slightly dim areas. The glow isn't as strong either, and there's a big black patch on the bottom where there is no glow. That's really my only complaint and since I needed the indiglo feature it's getting 4-stars.

I first purchased this watch at a higher price at a department store and considered it a bit of throwaway watch for a very active summer I was having that year. I didn't think it would last long. That version also had a date number on the face. It actually became my favorite watch. Casual but a classic looking style. It lasted me 3 years before the battery went out and a piece of the band broke. But it's been through a lot and I wore it almost daily.

So I ordered it again here on Amazon. This version was much cheaper, has no date on the face, but everything else about it seems exactly the same. The band is on the longer side, but not as long as my last version. Love the simple style but I preferred my last version.

I like the watch, though my watch doesn't keep upright on the wrist, it seems to tilt back a bit. So when checking the time I always. have to pull the watch down a bit to see the face of the clock. I can make it a bit tighter which may solve the problem but then I end up with marks on the back of my wrist. I had a metal-expandable band before but that always left deep marks, which is why I changed to a leather band. This is ok, I can deal with it.

I purchased this watch to replace a ladies Timex Expedition I'd had for about 10 years. I like my stainless bracelet band and wanted to switch the leather band this comes with out. I didn't purchase the tool to change out the band. You should probably have that. It was a real struggle to switch but eventually with a tiny screwdriver my husband was able to accomplish it. My last one had a date feature, which this one does not. It's hard to change the date and even harder to see it... The watch is great without. I love the indiglow! This is a great watch for the money.

I have had two Expedition watches in the past and have always been happy with them. My most recent one is the T44563 version/style. It's at least 6 years old. Like a previous reviewer stated, every month or so it starts losing time. I adjust it and then a month or so later it loses time again and it's not the battery.

I ordered the T41181 as a replacement. I was disappointed when I opened the box and saw how much smaller the watch face was than on the T44563. The T41181 is only 26 mm, the T44563 is 34mm. I like the larger one better, however, I will keep the smaller one since I like the background and the dark numbers are easier to read. It's my fault for not reading the dimensions. I noticed another Expedition watch that is the same diameter as the T41181 and in it's description is the word "mini"...would have been nice if "mini" was in the T41181 description as well.

While this version is a bit mild compared to its predecessor, it seems to be holding up well. I’m Respiratory Therapy student, so I have used for a whole semester of lab. Before buying, I thought the red sweep hand and the black and white hour and minute hands would stand out sufficiently to make the watch easy to read. If you're just trying to get a vague idea of the time, it's fair enough. If you are trying to time something with fair precision, like timing an egg where minutes and seconds make a big difference, it's not so hot.

Why not so hot? Because of the placement of the increments on the dial. The face is rather small, which is cute, but that smallness means there's not a lot of room for the increments. It seems like Timex fudged a little and crunched some increments too close to the numerals rather than spreading the evenly. To see what I mean, before you buy, zoom in on the bigger picture of the watch face. Notice the minute increments between the numbers? The lines don't quite match up where they should when you're actually trying to time something. The second hand jumps from spot to spot BETWEEN the increments, not on the markings. I have a bear of a time trying to decide just where the minute hand is pointed, because the increments aren't exactly where they should be. (Problem: This makes a difference if you're not staring at the watch, watching the hands turn, the entire time you're timing something)

Another negative, the dark colored leather band sometimes leaves dye marks on my wrist.

On the plus side, the indiglo light-up dial does work well. The ticking is so quiet I had to turn off my air purifier and put the watch directly to my ear before I could detect a ticking sound. The minute and second hand have some partial coating that glows after being exposed to strong light (like outdoors/sunlight) for a while - but it's a very brief glow that lasts minutes and is rather faint. (The glow hands are a different feature from the indiglo feature that lights up the dial with the push of a button.)

If I had the option, I'd send this watch back and get one of the larger faced analog Timex indiglos instead with a fabric band. (Easier to read increments on bigger face ... fabric band washable .... ) ... either an Easy Reader or one of the Weekender appears to avoid the shortcomings of this little watch.

I WISH these watches kept the time!!! I have owned 3 of these since 2014. Every one of them didn’t keep the time correctly! They all lost 1-5 minutes of a 10 day time. It didn’t matter if I was wearing in all day, or letting it sit on the dresser... it lost time. I am looking for another watch, and am frustrated that I cannot depend on these Expedition watches to keep time. I am tough on watches, mostly because I wear the crystal on the inside of the wrist. The crystal holds up. The watch is attractive. Love the indiglo & glow in the dark hands. Just keep time!!

Within a couple months of regular use the crystal became scratched and cracked and the watch face fogged up because moisture got through. I love this watch but it just cant seem to stay together. I have had 3 and each one seems to fall apart. First one was the time dial on the side to set the time literally just fell out, the second one the pin that holds the band to the watch fell out and when I took it to a watch smith he said it was too small for the band in the first place. The third did the same thing pin fell out. I wish it would hold together better I do love the face of the watch.

Why oh why did they take the date feature away? The original of this watch had a date function, which I count on, and when it broke (after replacing the strap twice, and they sell the same strap on Amazon - very handy) I blindly re-ordered the same watch without realizing it had lost the date function. It's so good looking that I kept it, but had to buy another that I don't like at all just because it was the only one with a leather strap and a date function.

The watch is good looking, and keeps time. BUT... I've only had it a month or two and the indiglo already doesn't work. Also - the strap is a little stiff - so it wants to sit on my wrist sideways. I improved that by bending the band where my wrist needs it to and setting something heavy on each side at night. If you have a smaller wrist, you may also find that the strap is a bit long.

When it arrived I was impressed with the styling however I was extremely disappointed with the size of the watch casing. It was much smaller than expected. I noticed that the picture on the other site had a date calendar function on the watch face and this one did not. I read the description here and assumed that the picture on this site was wrong because the description did indeed state that it had a date calendar. I bought this watch for my wife's birthday in early December for her to use at work. She works in retail and did not want to wear an expensive watch. She loved the watch, especially the leather wrist band. Last week she discovered her watch had stopped and the stem was missing! She has no idea how the stem could have fallen out. She must have brushed it against a metal shelf while she was stocking. She was really disappointed. We bought another similar watch at Walmart (a cheap unknown brand with a vinyl band, but it had protective ears around the stem). I removed the vinyl band and installed the nice leather wrist strap from the Timex and my wife is happy. It is too bad the Timex stem pulled out, because, otherwise the watch was a very nice watch for the price.

Just received the watch from Amazon. I don't normally wear watches and actually haven't owned one in years, but I bought it for an upcoming trip where I won't have my cell phone on hand at all times to check the time.

I feel a little stupid asking, but I can't tell if my indiglo feature isn't working, or if I just don't know how to use it. I read some reviews that stated you just have to press the time setting dial in, and the watch face is supposed to light up. Mine doesn't light up and it doesn't even seem like this button goes in. I had no trouble pulling it out and setting the time though. Perhaps the feature is just faulty on this particular one, but I wanted to check before sending it back. Can any one offer advice?
