My mom loves it!!
I bought this watch for my mom for Mother’s Day and she keeps telling me how much she loves it and gets so many compliments on it when she wears it at work! It’s really pretty and classy, I’m thinking of buying one for myself! It’s just like an Apple Watch, she gets texts messages on it. You can pick the face for it, there’s 100 to choose from. She picked the one that had huge numbers, she loves that she can see it! She’s still trying to figure out how to work the texts though. She said it was kind of hard to set up, but my sister helped her with it. This was the perfect gift!
Love it! I wear it daily!
I wear it daily! The battery life typically lasts a full day as long as it is still on the charger when you wake up. It tracks your steps accurately. You can text and call people on it. Calls are hard for the other side to hear, but doable. Voice text is pretty good. It's hard to type your text but you can if you're slow and take your time.
Great watch
This is only my second week wearing it, so I'm still learning about everything it has to offer. So far I'm loving the step counter and was able to get it to sync with the Noom app. I'm in the medical field and the timer has been great for counting peoples pulses. I was really worried about the face being too large and even hesitated to order it. Now I must say that the size is perfect and definitely not too large. And if your worried that the band may not fit your wrist, don't be I had to have 5 links taken out. My only complaint thus far is that the charger cord isn't very long limiting where you can charge it. I have a fairly tall dresser, maybe 42-46" with a plug right beside it and the watch has to sit on the very edge just to reach the charger. Not good for the watch to be on the edge like that.
Great at first. Died at 87 days old. Poor customer support from Fossil!!
I've had my watch Less Than 3 months. I loved it! It synched well with my Samsung Note and worked perfectly until a couple of days ago. Started cycling on and off at random times. Now it continues to cycle on and off repeatedly every minute and the watch is getting hot. Fossil said they will cover it under their warranty, however their customer service is poor in my opinion. I have to ship the watch to them at my cost and pay for shipping insurance and proof of delivery. Repair can take 4 to 6 weeks. If they can't fix it, then they will supposedly provide me a new one. In the meantime, I have no watch for a month and a half. I am not happy! Too bad not all companies have the great customer service that Amazon does!!
I like it
Got this watch for $149 on Amazon!! The watch is actually okay. Band was way too big, but I took it to the fossil store and they removed links for me, now it fits perfectly. (SN: fossil will remove links for you for free in store) I wanted a leather band, so ended up buying one at another fossil store. (Another SN: the band size for this watch is 18mm) The watch did take me about a week to learn how to use it. I have a Samsung Galaxy 20 and it works perfectly with it. I love that I don't have to pull my phone out to text, answer calls, or email. My personal opinion I'd recommend it. Only downside is the band is too big, but like I said, fossil will remove the links in store for free.
I love my smartwatch!!
I was a little skeptical on getting a smartwatch in fear I wouldn't really use it much after the first week-month. But I absolutely love it. I challenge myself daily with getting more steps and actually doing a workout here and there to get "heart points". I'm a competitive person so having a little challenge for myself daily is awesome. I also got my fiance the black gen 5 and he loves his. We always leave our phone laying down and slack on responses to people or have multiple missed calls/texts and these wat he's have definitely helped us try to keep up with calls/texts/emails throughout the day, even when busy or working!
Femininity Easy to Use Touch Screen
iphone user: purchased 5/10, review 5/20: Easy install of iOS app but I wish we didn’t have to install every app to use this product. Cool faces, would recommend also purchasing the screen protector (I am a very cautious person but those really help decrease scratches etc). It did come quite large around the band but it took the fossil watch repair guy 1 minute to resize to fit my wrist. Would recommend putting it on battery save mode which last a week otherwise your battery will drain within hours. Very cute and I like it a lot.
Better than my fitbit that I've had for years.
This smart watch has alot of features to learn than my fitbit did. I'm learning something new everyday. I do love that I can reply and answer my phone when I'm away from my actual phone bc I'm very bad at misplacing my phone. The only feature that I'm not fond of is the battery life. It does not last long at all. I have to charge this daily. The look...I get compliments all the time. Only had this a week.
Overall it’s a GREAT watch that’s beautiful
Apple user here and I love this watch. I’ve used it for three days now and it does everything that I used my Apple Watch for and now I actually have a nice looking watch! The only negative is that I thought I could add my personal pictures to the watch screen like I could on my Apple Watch but you can or at least I haven’t found out how to do it.
ABLE TO TALK ON WATCH
I bought this watch because I got Galaxy note 20 and forgot need my watch and apple can work w android so I first bought galaxy watch it sucked bought this 1 and love it track my heart sleep messages and alarm and can talk on it notifications as well I can use my watch if I'm not to far from my phone which is Bonus cuz my Boss is Cruella LMAFO Bonus
I love this watch!
This watch is fantastic, it works great with my phone. I love that I don't have to carry my phone with every step I make and can still receive texts and calls. It helps with work because I can access my calendar events as well as my emails. Very easy to take links out of the band, my husband did it in a matter of maybe 2 minutes with a small nail and a butter knife. The battery lasts all day and is still charged at least 50% when I go to bed. Overall love the watch!!
Inexpensive alternative to galaxy or Apple watches. But...
I purchased as a gift for my girlfriend. To preface this review, I'd like to say she likes the watch and gets compliments. It seems to work to replace her fitbit.
First thing I noticed, the "rose gold" color is not very "rosey". In my opinion it looks like 18ct gold. The watch face is huge when on a ladies wrist. Would love to see a redesign that doesn't look so. Battery life is not super impressive. Needs to be charged every night, which kind of negates the sleep rhythm settings. But this is typical with most smart watches.
Somewhat lacking UI implementation, awkward menu setup, disconnects from phone frequently
The experience I had with this watch was frustrating. Generally I found it to be awkward to use, and to take too many steps to get it fully up and running. When it was set up, I had a hard time getting ahold of the UI, but that might just be me. Battery life is as advertised, but it stands to mention that the screen will light up with EVERY instance of a notification - no watch should do that without an option to turn it off. (Both touch and tilt to wake functions were disabled, mind you) I feel like that is the biggest reason for my battery drain, not any of the settings I could ever adjust.
Ultimately I might have kept the watch if there were any tools or instructions included on how to adjust the metal band - That was hands down my least favorite part of this. I returned it to put a couple more dollars toward a different brand. It's a shame, because it's so stylish.
Sadly defective but was a good watch.
I received this on January 12th. Today is February 17th. My watch has been displaying an odd messed up screen and cycling between that and the clock screen. The screen is not turning off. The battery is dying quickly due to it not turning off. It is probably broken/defective. I had a Fossil smart watch before this and liked it. I had an issue with that watch and customer service/repairs was good on their word and got my first watch fixed. I will reach out to customer service again to get this one repaired as well. Unless they give me trouble honoring the warranty which I don't think the will I will still continue to recommend Fossil watches as with the except of defects they are good quality and their warranty service is good. I'll update if issues with warranty process.
Very dissapointed
First off the watch is gorgeous. But without a battery charger the watch is useless. The watch came with no charger. How on earth can a smartwatch be sold without a charger? Love the watch doesn't have an option to return for exchange
