I love this watch and upgraded over the years. So far, I've had this one for a year and a half. I bought it for it's stylish look with Google Play apps. Fossil doesn't really have good instructions on how to use all the features but you figure it out over time. I like that it tracks my sleep and fitness stats. It also takes calls and I can go swimming with it.
I keep my watch on extended mode but if I use it a lot, I have to do a daytime charge as sleep tracking uses battery life over night. I've only had to do this recently.
The only issue with the phone is that it won't download Instagram or Facebook images to use as a background so I use Pandora and it uses the last songs cover art. I emailed Fossil support and it's due to a Facebook/Instagram upgrade. They said they would email me when it's fixed.

I was looking to buy a smartwatch and I was reading articles and reviews online about different watches, and I had smartwatches in "my cart" on alot of different online stores but I kept coming back to this smartwatch and I am so glad I did. I absolutely LOVE this watch! I am able to receive all of my text messages and calls on the watch. It tracks my heart rate throughout the day, notifies me when my next meeting or calendar event is, and allows for me to use a lot of my apps right from my wrist. I also love the design. The screen is big but I feel it is just the right size I didn't want a small screen. I also really like the band that this watch came with as all my other watches (that are not smatchwatches) have a bracelet like band. So the one I choose was the silver mesh. I like that the band is interchangeable and as long as the new band is 22mm you are able to switch out them out. I do not do a lot of heavy workouts so I cannot speak on how well the workout app is (but there is a workout app included on the watch) but I do walk a lot and I like that it counts my steps. As other reviewers mentioned this watch does not come with instructions on how the functions work however I am an android user and so I was able to navigate the watch as if I would with my phone. However there are a ton of you tube videos on each function of the watch even one on how to adjust the mesh band. The watch was super easy to pair with my phone. I have received many compliments on my watch since purchasing it. I wear this watch everyday and absolutely love it! I would highly recommend!!

This watch is so pretty, it looks very luxurious. I have gotten so many compliments! But, I got it to track my fitness. I'm not really sure if it is accurately tracking everything, but it is at least handy for keeping track of workouts and steps. The stopwatch function is also useful while exercising. I haven't used a ton of apps but it's great for looking at notifications and seeing if it's necessary to pick up your phone. I'm not a huge fan of the messaging app, it's a little delayed but I'm glad to be able to reply to messages on the go. The battery life is so-so. Make sure you change the settings so it at least lasts throughout the day, I don't really need it last longer than 8~12 hours and it does. It's exactly what I was looking for, fashion and function. It's responsive and quick but it occasionally freezes for a few seconds. The price is really good and I don't think I would have been happier with any other watch! If it's too big, then it's only $5~10 to remove a link or you can do it yourself.

So this is my first smart watch and I love it! It looks like a typical watch but you can customize what watch face (analog, digital, with a theme etc) you like and easily change it with your mood, outfit or season. It's super easy to navigate and figure out, and you can customize the type of notifications you want to receive on your phone (ex: I opted to not know when I get social media notifications but wanted emails and texts). Convinient when doing things since you can take a phone call through the watch and I find people hear me better than being on my phone's speaker. You can also pause music or tv shows that you play through your phone. Easy to sink up to my gallaxy (my partner has an iphone and also had no issue). Battery lasts a full day for me and I check it frequently, get many notifications and have the typically light settings. I get complements on it all the time. I chose the black band and rose gold but notice it also has a light silver circle on the inside which really allows me to wear it with any type of jewelry or outfit making it very easy to coordinate with anything. Definitely worth it. The watch is super secure, comfortable, and you can tell is a good quality watch. The size gets getting used to and a couple tries of adjusting the band to find the right fit for my wrist, but is actually the perfect accent piece, fits comfortably and looks super nice, a lot nicer than the apple ones I think.

I had an old LG Urbane which was slow and like a big dinosaur on my wrist. I wanted something that was a little sleeker and fast, and this watch fits the bill. Battery life is good. It makes it through the day without a charge. My only disappointment is that Fossil is supposed to have been rolling out an update to fix the texting since the beginning of the year. You cannot use the Google assist for sending text. You can receive text and respond to them. I did a work around by downloading my texting app, Messages, onto my watch and can send texts that way. Hopefully they will fix this issue soon. Love that this watch has a speaker! You can ask Google anything and she will respond. I have not used this watch for phone calls yet, but I'm thinking you would not want to be in a crowded room. All in all, I am very pleased with this watch!

Great update!!! I previously had the Gear S2 which came out some time ago in 2016. So yeah.....from 2016 to 2021 a huge time gap and update!!!! I preserve my battery life due to the previous watch not having a decent time of usage. So I have it on custom mode most of the time. AND.....i update my watch band and swapped it out for a alternate that i purchased on the Etsy app for 60$. Which I'm loving the new look!!! I'm all smiles??.

Best watch I’ve owned yet. Battery, at first, didn’t last long because I was using the watch like we all use anything NEW... I couldn’t stop playing on it. But once I got the hang of the apps and setup the watch to how I want it, the battery life was a day n a half before needing a charge. So for those who says the battery life suck, stop playing with your watch as much and you will see that it will last over a day before you need to charge it. After all, it is just a WATCH! It’s not as big as your phone with the battery life of it. I love this smart watch.
