Cute, comfortable and I very much appreciated that it arrived set to the correct time and date. I have a very small wrist and the third setting fits perfectly. I bought this watch specifically to have something waterproof that I could wear while paddle boarding, but it is certainly attractive enough that I won't limit its wear to just when I'm swimming.

I also love all the extra functions included with the watch: stopwatch, timer, dual time zone times (great for traveling to different time zone), alarm (with chime/ring), date, day, 12/24hr (military time option), time light up, water resistance.
For those asking about setting time or turning off hourly chime:
Setting time & date
1. Press & hold RESET (top left), seconds will start to flash.
2. Press ST/STP (top right) to reset secs to 0.
3. Press MODE (bottom left) to move to hours.
4. Press ST/STP to advance the hour.
5. Press MODE to move to minutes and repeat step 4 & 5 until you're done setting the time and date.
6. Press RESET to exit the time&date settings.
7. Voila! Your time & date are set!
How to Disable Hourly Chime
1. Press MODE (bottom left) to get to the alarm menu.
2. If you see two symbols of a bell and wifi looking symbols at the bottom of the time, you have an alarm and hourly chime set.
3. Press ST/STP (top right) until the two symbols disappear.
4. Press MODE 3 times to return back to the normal watch time & date screen.

I am writing this review in order to help out the Amazon customer community. Although there are many reviews of this watch, I couldn't find any answer to what type of battery this takes. I ended up taking the watch apart, and I can now tell you that what was inside was a CR1616 3v battery. The brand was Maxell.
I've been reasonably happy with this watch. Can't beat the price for a water resistant watch. I ordered the silver, which looks nice enough to wear with business or any attire. I wear it swimming in the ocean several times a week, and it lasted almost exactly 1 year before the display went haywire. It happened while I was in the water, and I wasn't sure if the watch going haywire was due to the battery dying or due to water. I've ordered a new battery and will try to change it and see if that works. Because this watch is so reasonably priced, I debated with myself quite a bit in deciding if it is worth it to try to change the battery. But I ultimately decided it wasn't much of a risk to spend $3.55 on a 3-pack of the CR1616 3v battery and give the battery-change a try. . . .Whether I'll be able to put it back together and have it remain waterproof is up in the air, and I'll try to update this review once I receive the battery and try to put it in the watch.

I've been searching a sports watch for a month because I need a watch that features dual time, alarm, stopwatch, backlight, as well as water resistance. I considered Ice watch BMW series and chronos. Having read through their reviews, they turned out to be impractical. I also looked into Timex watches, but comparing with this armitron watch, they are expensive and emphasize overly on their fancy look. Then I decided to buy this practical watch and it turned out to be good for such a price, about $15, and it has it all! I can set up an alarm with backlight on, and many other sports watches cannot do that. This made possible setting alarms in a dark room or at night. The only thing that I felt disappointed is that the backlight lasts only 2 to 3 seconds. I wish it lasts longer, but it is enough though! I haven't try under water functions yet. I am looking forward to seeing its underwater performance. Anyway, this is a nice watch for a good price, if it is durable. Oh, btw, I got a wrong manual in the package. I ordered 45/7012 but I got a manual for 45/6975, which is wierd. Overall, it was a good transaction on a good product. Fast shipping!

UPDATE: By Oct. 2, my watch just up and died. The light comes on, but there is absolutely nothing on the screen. Nothing happened to it. I just wore it every weekday and put it in my nightstand at night. Very disappointed.
To be honest, i really wanted a gold colored Casio watch with the same features. I am a housewife and I wanted a functional watch to remind me of the date, something I could wear doing dishes here and there (water resistant) and attractive. With much of my things in life always being functional, it was abour time to have something nice and pretty to wear, that could cross over into something to be worn dressed up when the occasion might arise. I'm a simple person; i don't want two watches to match outfits.
However, the Casio cost $60 and we have one income for me to do what I do, so...$60 is too much money.
Why Casio? Because lately everythjng is going for that retro 80s look, and it's nostalgic for me. And would go along well with my new retro leather white Addidas sneakers. Lol
Well...THIS WATCH also had date & time, and water resistance. I liked the idea of the comfy, sort of soft silicone band. But would it look cheap?
I mulled over all the different styles and it was difficult to choose because online, they all look very attractive. So i hit the review section to help me decide.
Now, normally silver looks a little "cold" to me but i decided to take a chance on the silver one because it looked most like jewelry and more sophisticated in the monochromatic color scheme.
Boy, was I glad I chose it!
The watch came very quickly, came set to the proper date and time, is very comfy for all day wear, is easy to read, and yes~I wore it (successfully) hand washing dishes. (I don't think you should submerge it in water though).
Being a sahm mom for 20 years you sometines put yourself on the back burner. This will sound stupid and no, i'm not being paid to write this- but I actually do feel better wearing this watch. It's so pretty on my wrist. Also, I have small wrists and the watch is perfect size and doesn't over power me visually. It's great to hsve a normal watch again and not have to keep closing tabs on my phone to see the date and time.

Second time buying this watch. I loved the first one I bought but the buckle popped off after about six months. Not really a manufacturing issue just normal wear and tear (I think) since I tend to be pretty rough on my watches (I sword fight and sometimes forget to take off my watch). I love this watch, but found setting the time to be a bit challenging. You can find instructions on the product website. For convenience, I will copy these instructions below:
Locate the four metal buttons next to the face of the watch at four corners around the dial face. The user manual for the Armitron All-Sport watch labels the top button on the left “A,” the bottom left as “B,” the top right button as “C” and the bottom right as “D.”
Press and hold the "set" button, “A,” to set the time and date on your watch. This will cause the numbers on the face of the watch to flash. Press the “C” button to zero the number of seconds. Press “B” to advance the settings to hours and minutes. Press “C” to advance the hours and minutes to get the reading on the clock to match the actual time.
Press “B” two times, followed by “A” to set the alarm. This will cause the alarm time to flash, starting with the hours. Press “C” to advance the hours. Press “B” again and then “C” to advance the minutes setting.
Enter into "Alarm" mode by pressing “B” twice. Press “C” to change the activation status of both the alarm and hourly chime. The status of the alarm and hourly chime are indicated by a bell and house symbol respectively on the face of the watch.

The backlight is awesome! I love the color it glows. Most times though I push it just for fun because this watch is very readable. You can be in a darker room and still see the date and time without the backlight. To me that makes this a great quality watch. I also like that u can choose your setting options for example: you can set it to beep beep everytime the hour changes or you can turn it off. You have a stop watch and an alarm. The alarm works very well and u can definitely hear it but, it's not obnoxious. I also like that u can watch the seconds count up before you minutes change. On the face you can see day of week and date. Then underneath that u see time, sec and if u have your alarm on or the hourly beep beep setting you'll see the icon. The last thing you will see on the face is the sec counting up. The only teeny tiny issue I have which isn't too big of a deal is the watch guard. The little piece that you can move in either direction that holds the band in place. I frel like it moves a bit to easily. I wish it would stay still more so the watch is a little more protected from coming undone. Other then that this watch is a great buy and it does have a WARRANTY. Win Win!

I have had this watch since... January? Maybe a little longer, but I choose watches that are cheap that I never have to take off. This watch has stayed on me while I shower, while I sleep, at work, you name it. It started to malfunction when I either stepped on it (one of the few times I took it off) or after I hit it with the butt end of a screwdriver accidentally, and it slowly let in a little water. That being said, both of those incidences happened over a month ago, and while the face has lost some of the number lines, it still works perfectly. After about 6 months, the white band started to look a little grubby, though the lake water I was in-and-out of didn't help, and I did accidentally drop it in a can of paint at one point so it got a little stained from that, but otherwise, my only complaint is that the configuration of buttons isn't really intuitive. At some point while sleeping I turned on the beeper for all the buttons, which is really annoying, and try as I might I cannot figure out how to turn it off (even though I do know how to turn off the alarm and beeper setting) but that might just be a result of the damage. I'm planning on buying a new one, exactly the same as the one i have, as soon as i finish this long-winded review.

I had a cheap fitness tracker that finally died and I missed having a watch so I scoured the site and found some decent looking options, this was one of them.
The face is the perfect size for my skinny wrists, and there are still notches in the slim band for me to tighten it. This band is perfect. The watch face is easy to read from more than 18 inches away and the watch itself meets all of my requirements: stopwatch, back light, date, digital.
I've read the reviews about the lighter colored bands changing into a darkened/ uglier color, that's why I went with the navy blue. Will update this review if the watch dies unexpectedly or any other shenanigans. For now, it's everything I was looking for.
Be warned that the watch will arrive in its Armitron open case in a very thin cardboard box. My watch was out of it's sales case and in the box when I opened it. Not a big deal, just a potential for nicking, etc.

I love everything about this watch. For one, it looks fantastic. Can be dressed up or down, worn in whatever the occasion. The face is small. Quite dainty, in fact - definitely made for a woman's wrist. But the numbers are large.
Secondly, the display is sharp and bright - unlike a lot of digital watches these days. When needed, the EL light is very luminescent. The only thing I haven't tested is the waterproofing; I'll just have to see about that when I am out in the rain.
When researching which digital watch to buy, my biggest concern was how bright the display is and how easy it is to see in low light. I saw many watches with the display barely bright enough to see indoors without having to activate the EL light. And who wants to do that every time you look down to see what time it is? Not me. So I scanned through all the photos I could find to try to ascertain the display quality. I chose this watch because it has the light background with black numbers clear enough to see. I am happy to report: without a shed of hesitation, I can state that this display is perfect. You shouldn't have problems viewing the time at all in low light.
The key is to get a digital watch that has a light-colored background and black numbers. Much easier to read than a black background with light color numbers. Recently, I bought watch for my friend that has a black background. Big mistake. That watch's cream numbers are almost invisible indoors. Never again.
The dual time feature will come in handy when I travel out west to visit various National Parks in different time zones. When we cross over into the new time zone, I will simply switch to the alternate time mode. And easily switch back when we return.
The provided instructions were clear and easy to follow. Zero problems getting it set up and scrolling through all the modes.
I haven't worn a digital watch in decades; they didn't seem stylish or sophisticated enough. I only got this one to wear on hikes because of it's waterproof feature and it is cheap enough that I don't care if it gets banged around out in the field. However, given how nice this watch looks, I am now a digital watch convert. I would buy this watch again in a heartbeat. And probably will at some point so I am glad this one comes in different colors. I have found my new favorite watch.

I love this watch! I'm a nurse, and I wanted something that would constantly have the seconds going, not one that you have to push a button. This is perfect, because the time is in large numbers, and then directly below that in smaller numbers, is the seconds. You don't have to push a button like a lot of watches. I have a pretty small wrist, so I also like that this isn't a huge watch. In the past week since wearing it to work, I've washed my hands about 500 times (yes, that could be a little bit exaggerated) and I definitely don't take my watch off or even move it, so it does get a little wet and it's held up just fine. The color is still just as pretty. This watch is a fraction of the cost of most watches that I've had, and this one is my favorite so far! I highly recommend it!

This is a great little watch for the price, but the instructions for setting the time and calendar are wrong. It comes preset for east coast time and I needed to change it to central time. After several infuriating attempts I figured out the real process:
1. Press and hold button A.
2. Then press D enough times until the number that you want to change starts flashing. (Once for seconds, twice for the hour, three times for minutes, four times for calendar, etc.)
3. Press B to advance the number that is flashing.
4. By pressing D again, it accepts that change and advances to the next.
Hope this saves others from the same frustration.

Love love love this watch. I originally bought it to wear only for some upcoming travel and sporting events, but it has ended up being a watch I feel I can wear in just about any setting. It went whitewater rafting in Thailand, ziplining in Bali, it went on a 7-day cycling trip down the length of California and accompanied me through thousands of sweaty miles of training for that ride. It even held up as I hiked up a waterfall with my arms often submerged in water. For almost two years and tons of adventures, this watch incurred not so much as a scratch. All this is to say, don't be misled by its size or price, this watch is incredibly rugged and durable. In fact, its dainty size is a bonus that lends it a sort of elegance missing from most digital watches. I have small wrists and can't stand wearing bulky things on my arms. This watch is comfortable and stylish. I get compliments on it all the time.
It's easy to program and has lots of features from a built-in light to two alarm modes (sound and vibrate). It's really everything you want in a watch without a bunch of needless extras.
However, I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because, inexplicably and without any warning, the band broke. It hadn't been showing any signs of wear and I hadn't subjected it to any sort of extreme activity for nearly a year. When I looked it over just the other week I was marveling at how it was still in near perfect condition. But then this week the thing just snapped while I was wearing it about town. I tried to repair it but to no avail. I even contemplated finding a way to replace just the band since the watch itself is still in excellent working order. I was pretty heartbroken, so I finally decided to order another. The first watch lasted 2 years almost to the day. I'm hoping the new one, which arrives tomorrow, holds up a bit longer than that.

Initial thoughts are very good. Looks very nice for a digital sport watch. It doesn't come with instructions, but luckily another reviewer posted them. The rose gold/white option has a silver closure, which is just a little detail. I have a very small wrist and it fits without having to use the tightest hole, therefore I'd assume this would even fit children or adolescents well. The alarm is a medium volume. Maybe not loud enough to wake a heavy sleeper or to hear over a crowd, but it certainly gets my attention under typical circumstances. I have not tested the water resistance yet, I hope I'm not disappointed.

This model is exactly the type of watch for mostly casual, everyday use, and to go with various casual fashion and yet not too large or bulky for most women's styles of accessories. I'm impressed with the overall design of the wristband and face. The pink color is especially pretty to look at and blends in nicely with many styles of women's clothing, including business wear. Too soon in my receiving of the item to tell if the battery life would be satisfactory in relation to the quality of the timepiece though. It's not waterproof so I wouldn't reccommend bathing or swimming with it on. I would wear a dishwashing glove over it during wet household chores. Be sure to keep the time setting directions on hand for when Daylight Savings Time comes along.

When I received this watch I was suprised at the number of features that weren't listed on Amazon so here's a full rundown:
- Time display mode that shows day of the week, date for the day, and time in hours, minutes and seconds.
- Alarm with the ability to turn the alarm sound on/off. Displays icon showing whether alarm sound is on.
- Ability to set the watch to chime on the hour. Displays icon showing whether chime is on.
- Ability to do 12 or 24 hour time
- Stop watch with ability to record splits.
- Ability to set a second time zone (does not show date/day)
- Backlight for the watch face in low-light conditions
I read some reviews stating that they couldn't figure out how to set the watch. Admittedly, the instructions are confusing because instead of using the labels on the watch face they used letters (A, B, C, D) for the button. Still, I was able to quickly get the time set, and because you can zero out the seconds you can set this watch very precisely.
The only other surprise is that tin the picture the metal bezel looks somewhat matte like it's brushed or been treated in someway but it's actually polished and shiny. This isn't bad except that I expect it'll show scratches more easily. The only thing I dislike is that it feels a bit like it's pinching my wrist even with the band set a bit loosely. I'm hoping this gets better with wear as the strap breaks in a little. As some people mentioned, this is for people with slender wrists. I have always had a hard time finding watches to fit my small wrists. This watch fits almost perfectly

Part of why i do not buy watches from the store is due to the battery is always running from the shelf and who knows how long it has been on. When this watch came it was already running :-( Clock face and time are easy to read. The time is larger and the day/date is above, clearly says day then date. Has back light that illuminates the numbers vs watch face. Which i do not personally care for,. This strap, definitely a feminine watch that is not a sporty type. love that! Rose gold over face makes the watch a little dressy/fancy. It is a basic watch, tells time, keeps track of the day and date. Easy to read. The watch face is raised also for easy reading.
Really do not need a timekeeper nowadays the time is everywhere, but something nice and outfit finishing with a nice watch. and do not have to pick up your cell to find out the time.
Would give 5 stars if battery was brand new to me. Guesstimate band width around wrist to be 1/4 of an inch. Good watch, stylish, should last a long time.

I had this watch for 4 years in a healthcare setting and only got rid of it when the strap keeper broke. It stood up to soap / water / hand sanitizer galore. So I bought another one.
I had to call the company to get help with fixing the DAY of the week and this is how you do it. You must correct the YEAR and then the day of the week sets automatically.
If the year is in advance of 2017, just keep pressing the D button (upper right) when you are in 'fix the year' mode and it will scroll back around to 2000.
I would give it 5 stars except the instructions are bad.

This is my second one of these. I do so love the watch it was worth buying another in just 3 years. The band broke on the first and it is impossible to find another. When I got the 2nd , I removed the bad band and replaced it with the new watch band, saving the new watch for later battery issues. The 2nd break was about the same and repaird it as well but the 2nd break broke again but unevenly. Not fixable. So, here I am, old watch new band and a spare new watch.

I needed a digital watch for my job in healthcare and got this one to replace a Timex Ironman watch. This Armitron is lightweight and low profile, so it feels good on my wrist and doesn't get in the way of gloves. A couple of small critiques: 1. The Start button design on the Timex is superior if you're going to use timers a lot. This one isn't differentiated from the other buttons (overall the Timex is heavier and bulkier, though, which is why I replaced it). 2. I wish it had a countdown timer. 3. I have to wear the band on the 3rd to last hole. The watch-band loop slips off constantly, leaving the extra band sticking out. I solved the issue by putting a Magic Loop rubber band around the end. It would be endlessly irritating without the extra rubber band and not worth wearing.

As far as functionality, this watch does great. It has an alarm, two times (for different zones) and a stop watch. You can have an hour beep or choose to have it silent. However, as I saw in the reviews before buying, this watch does turn gray, and it actually did it quicker than expected. When I first read that I assumed it wasn't cleaned properly. That's not the case. I've tried stain removers, magic eraser, oxy clean and even bleach, but nothing will get this watch back to the white color. It's nice enough but looks dingy. The date is also a feature I like. I have small wrists though, and it adjusts to my size but often the excess strap that is supposed to be secure under the band comes out and just looks ridiculous. Either way, aside from looks it works. I do find myself taking it off before pictures. I just use it for functionality. So, mixed feelings about sums it up. Please be aware that even through Armitron, there is only a 30-day return and it has to be new condition. The warranty is a bust and they charge $9.95 to get it.

This watch is pretty enough to wear even with dressier clothes and has perfect time and alarm, timer and stopwatch functions that I use. I don't expect this third one I just ordered to last much longer, but wish it would last a year at least.... I wish they would make a digital watch in this coloring that had a few more features.
Since it’s sorta the only one on amazon it is worth doing without the timer.

She had to buy two of them, one for daylight savings and one for regular times, because they are difficult to set. Much too confusing for one thing, but also physical difficult for arthritic hands. And when the batteries died she got 2 more. (I'm not sure if they would still be water resistent once the battery is opened.). I recommend the watch if you need something inexpensive and water-resistent that looks decent on most people. But be prepared to spend time figuring out how to set it! And turn off any pre-set alarm!

Battery died, so I got about 10 months use. Didn't appear easy for me to replace the battery, so I gave up and threw it out. I felt awful doing that, but the watch also looked way older than it was. The plastic was sturdy, but the white band was so dirty. I've tried cleaning it to no avail. It wasn't worth the time and money to go to a jeweler to have a battery replaced.
It's an awesome watch right out of the box (tons of compliments). The watch function itself is amazing. I love the 24-hour time, the seconds, the face that includes the date, and the light function. All in all, a great watch with design flaws.
I did buy another watch just like it, but darker band. Same series, but in navy. I just hope the battery lasts longer on this new one.

So the screen was blank I thought maybe it needed a new battery but I pressed some buttons and it came to life but won’t allow me to reset the time and is making a high pitched alarm noise that I got to stop but started again when I tried to reset the time. I used it for the pool all summer so the price tag was worth it but I wouldn’t want it to end up in a landfill after only a year. Bummer.

The date was already set, which makes me think this had already been returned. I could get the hours to the proper time, but the minutes refuse to move unless it's in the stop watch function which I would never use. I want to return it except it's only off by 2 minutes and that's easy to live with until I can go shopping after this Cronavirus. I purchased an Armitron because I thought it was a good name product. I guess nothing stays the same.

I recently went swimming (jumped in and got right back out) - water got in the watch and caused one of the ticks on the hour number to disapear and reappear. I don't know if anyone else has had this issue. Perhaps mine is defective, but i'm a bit disspointed because I love everything else about this watch. This is my 5th watch like this. I know, I should stop buying them. I love them until the inevitable: the plastic band snaps in the same spot every single time. If you feel the two sides of the strap, the one with the holes is flexible, and the other end with the metal clasp more brittle. The more brittle one snaps every time. Sometimes it's after 10 months, sometimes after 18, but it has happened every time. Otherwise they're exactly what I want--cute, small, waterproof, digital. Armitron, please make a higher quality band! Because someday, I really am going to stop buying these.

However, I've bought two of these watches in 4 months.
The beautiful silver one lost the button to light up the face and then became waterlogged after I forgot to take it off. Ok... Stuff happens. I was disappointed but not mad.
Then, in April I got the black one. I've been a little more careful with this one -- taking it off to shower (even though it's supposed to be water resistant). Now, less than 2 full months from the first time I've put it on my wrist, the housing around the face is coming off.
This watch is definitely not up to Armitron's normal everyday wear and tear... I work in a clinic, so it's not like I'm on the construction site like my husband -- who's Armitron has held up wonderfully!

Review update: I've been purchasing this watch for several years now, I found that typically I could get 1-2 years out of it before the battery died and buying a new one was always easiest. However, the last two I purchased have not had long lives, last September's purchase lasted about 9 months before water started leaking in and the watch was ruined. I figured it was a fluke and ordered another. This one lasted 3 weeks.... I just left a pool and the watch is water logged and quickly dying (see picture). I've put in a request for a replacement, hopefully it lasts longer.... but I'm worried I'll have to find a new favorite watch.

I bought this watch in early April and it has been through a lot, I wear it every day and took it to Air Force Field Training, its traveled with me through Europe. I love it. Something did however happen to it yesterday when I was swimming in the ocean (which I have done plenty of times before). Somehow water did get in and now the numbers are slowly fading away. BUT I like the watch so much, that even with that malfunction I am buying another one.

Daughter loved this watch for a Christmas present in 2020. June it stopped working so I assumed the battery died because she uses the timer and alarms all the time so we bought a new battery and I replaced it. The watch still won't turn on so I called customer service to have them tell me that I need to send the watch to Michigan (we're from Ohio) to have it looked at for whatever all that will cost. Seems once you buy this watch they won't stand behind it for more that a few months if at all

I bought this watch for my daughter to use on a regular basis, so she doesn't have to take off the watch when washing her hands or showering or swimming. It was good for the first 3 months or so. Then a leak developed, first clouding the inside. Then the light also doesn't work anymore. It can still keep time and work as a regular non-water-resistant watch, but the most important function of being waterproof and also checking the time in the dark doesn't work anymore.

Purchased 9/20 and died 52 days later - now I'm seeing quite a few reviews with similar or quicker demises. Armitron customer service was completely unhelpful and very blasé about the short lifetime. Seems like maybe these watches are have some age on them, so the battery is on its last legs when you receive it. Husband is a champ at replacing batteries and has quite an inventory of them so it wouldn't usually be a big deal, but this model requires removal of the entire band and a specialized a teeny tiny screwdriver... AND the battery is not a standard one. Overall would not purchase again and can't recommend. UPDATE 12/1 - after replacing the battery, on 11/24, the watch DIED AGAIN TODAY. This is clearly a defective product. SECOND UPDATE, 12/22: After contacting Amazon, they (in typical stellar customer relations fashion) replaced the watch that died twice. So nice! I love Amazon. But? Yet? now THAT watch has died as well, just weeks after it arrived. (Truth: I swear on the soul of my father, Domingo Montoya...). I'm about to contact them again to request they replace the second one as well - perhaps I should just suggest they add a free one to my monthly subscription delivery...

UPDATE: We give up....4 of us have tried to set this watch to the proper time and it just reverts right back to East Coast Time. Not even worth sending back...I'll give it to my 3 year old great-granddaughter. She'll have fun with it. The watch itself is quite easy to read...The instructions are microscopic and we had to use a magnifying glass to read them. Someone was kind enough to set the day & date and TIME...BUT they must have been from back East. It's 3 full hours ahead of California time and try as I might (and even my husband tried), we haven't figured out how to fix it. We're going to keep trying and I'll do an update, if/when successful. Otherwise, I just wanted to let you know that it's for a pretty small wrist (thankfully, I have one) so it does fit. It says it's "water resistant" so when our gym pool reopens after all this COVID-19 craziness subsides, I'll give it a try.
UPDATE: The Instructions are totally WRONG. Ended up having to use "Dual Time" to get the correct time but lost the Day/Date in the process! Oh well. At least I'll know what time it is...Time to maybe get a better watch with decent instructions - Oh, and one that's "water proof" ! !

Lasted 1 year and 7 days now it's dead. The battery tested fine. I have to pay shipping to get it repaired and include a check for $10 to pay return postage so it's not worth getting it fixed. If you want a disposable watch, this is the one for you. Also, I wanted to replace the band and found that you can't put a standard watch band on it because of the weird way the band connects to the watch. I don't know about you but I'm sure getting tired of all this junky stuff that I keep ordering from Amazon that breaks within a year.

The first time I stepped into the pool, water leaked into the watch! Water leaks into it every day I'm in a regular swimming pool and now it's starting to affect the words and numbers on the watch. I can't see which day of the week it is or what day of the month it is anymore. If you look at the photo, you can see that it's mostly filled with water with some condensation. I thought this would be a reliable watch but it hardly lasted a month!!!!

I really wanted to love this watch. It’s super cute, and not to big.
However, I got to wear it for approximately a week and a half before it started to malfunction.
I could only read half of the screen. For exsample a 3 looks like a backward c.
(No I didn’t get it wet)
I got ahold of support about this issue, and they told me it was because the battery was weak, that I needed to replace the battery. I asked them what size battery did I need to get to replace it with. So they sent me a link to a package of batteries on Amazon. I ordered the batteries from that link. I waited from them to arrive, only you find out that they were the wrong size.
At the time I was working away from home in a small town. I could not find the proper battery in the town I was working in. So, time lapsed and when I was able to find the proper battery and replace it the time to return the watch expired. Unfortunate for me it wasn’t a weak battery, but a broken watch.
I’m very sad to say I wasted my money on something that doesn’t work, and support is about as useless as the watch.

I have owned this same watch (black) for years. I wore this watch in the shower everyday for about 4 years with no problems...). The strap broke and so I purchased the silver version of this same watch. I ordered two silver ones because I did not want to be without a watch when I travel (getting battery replaced, etc.) Wore the first silver one and it died after 1 month. Second silver one died after 3 months. Not sure what is happening with quality of watches. Not sure if wearing in the shower is causing the problem with the silver watches; however, I will no longer trust Armitron watches and I will put the "dead" watches in my "electronic recycle bin" so that they do NOT go to the landfill. C'mon Armitron, please fix this. I will miss wearing your watch.

Bought this watch in early September as a gift, just today asked my sister how she was liking the watch, which I noticed she wasn't wearing. She said the watch got foggy with moisture almost immediately and she didn't want to "hurt my feelings" by telling me. The watch says on the back "water-resistant to 330 feet" and there are reviews that say the wearer swam and/or showered wearing the watch without any leakage. My sister didn't even wear it in the shower. I don't know if this is a cheap dollar-store-type knock-off or defective, but I wish my sister had told me before the 30 day window for returns had passed. The only option that amazon is giving me is to contact the manufacturer when the watch should just be immediately replaced. I bought this same watch before in another color that lasted about 2 years before the battery gave out and it never leaked once. Since replacing the battery myself could jeopardize the water-resistance, I just threw the watch out.

Low quality. Pretty look but that is where it ends. The dial is quite small and is dim despite the "glow" light option (which they recommend not using at it will significantly lower the watch's battery life) so I can't hardly read it. No matter how I have tried to read the instruction, look online for the advice of others, and just plain old push all the buttons in any combination - I cannot get the alarm to change or turn off!
I wish I had just gone ahead and purchased a more expensive watch and certainly a different brand.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter because she chose it herself. I am really sorry I didn't read all the negative reviews!! It quit working on 2/3/21 and it isn't the battery - everything still lights up - it just doesn't tell time. Can't change the functions. More importantly, the Armitron website is total crap. Inputting the model number to retrieve the manual and warranty information results in an error message. They have no real customer service on the website, either. I didn't expect a lot for $14.99 but I didn't expect it to be this bad.

Ordered pink/rose gold. Instead its an almost white band and the metal is not at all rose gold; we can't quite figure out what it resembles. I'm very disappointed. I came back here to confirm my order and see that others complained about this same thing. They really need to change the color name and the advertised picture. I see deep in the description that it says something like "pale pink/beige"... well they shouldn't call it something else and thr picture is completely deceiving. Its going back.
