Perfect. I just got it and I love it. The face is clear and I can see the numbers with or without my glasses and it's stylish even though I wanted it to be my everyday watch. Something that would look good while I'm wearing yoga pants or business casual for the office. It even lights up when you push in the knob. I've been wearing Citizen watches for the last few years and even a Relic but I haven't every purchased a Timex. If it holds up to wear and tear I'll be purchasing this brand and style again. Also, I was worried that the band would be short but no need to worry it's quite long and has more than enough holes to adjust the fit.

No frills, no day/date cluttering up the dial, just a good, easy-to-read watch. The only thing that would improve this would be a red sweep second hand; the gold one is a little hard to see. But that's a quibble.
Be prepared to change the battery (a #1216 lithium coin cell) every couple of years--oftener if you use the Indiglo backlighting feature a lot. It's a bit of a pain: you have to pry off the back, being especially careful not to damage the O-ring, and getting the back to snap into place again is difficult. (I ended up discarding the O-ring because I could not make the back seat otherwise, which meant my watch is no longer waterproof... but I'm OK with that.)

My usual watch stopped while I was travelling, so I needed a replacement quickly. Timex has earned its reputation as a reliable brand and this was very fairly priced. The metal is convincingly solid, shiny but not overly so, the face is classic and the digits very easy to read. It so far has kept time very well- haven't tested the water resistance. Please note, the digits are not phosphorescent, so don't automatically glow in the dark, unless you press in the stem, whereupon the face lights in a gentle green, so you control light emission. The leather band is comfortable and the buckle works well. It looks much more expensive than it is- and I trust that it will be 'still ticking' for a long while.

Living in a rural area that gets really dark after nightfall the Timex 'Indiglo' is a godsend time device. I have had other watches with phosphorescent hands that glow and hour numerals also. For me that nighttime glow makes my vision blurred and I have a hard time deciphering the time in a dark room. The indiglo watches with the total lit-up dial at the push of a button is the BEST! I can readily push the button and easily read the time in the wee hours of night. This is a great everyday watch. The numbers are easy to read, and it looks good. The face on this signature edition is a bit larger than some of the other Timex watches that have similar features, so be aware of that. If you like a larger face then this one is for you, but if you want a small petite face then think about getting one of the other ones. The Indiglo feature is really what sold me on the watch. It glows with a nice soft light at night which is not glaring or disturbing but yet light enough to see the dial clearly.

This is a new Timex style for me. I have mixed feelings about it so far. As soon as I took this one out of the box, I thought they had sent me a man's watch. The face is bigger than I am used to and the strap was thicker and heavier. It's not bad looking for what it is... my watches take a beating and I don't wear expensive watches anymore, so my standards are lower. I tried it on and it was bigger than I'm used to but not out of proportion with my wrist or size when I really looked at it. I have to conclude it's just bigger than I'm used to. Even the strap is longer than the other Timex watches I've ordered. I usually close it at the second hole but I closed this one on the 3rd hole. Maybe it's not quite a masculine size--just bigger. I'm hesitant about keeping it because I don't like change, lol... but I DO like how easy the face is to read!! I will give it a probationary period...
Update 3 years later: It's my new preferred cheapy-but-looks-nice watch. The original one I bought got stolen. I am ordering a second now. Upping my rating to 4 stars. It's a good watch and EASY to read!

I bought this thinking it was the model T20071 which I usually buy. The dial on this one is larger. I prefer the aforementioned model, but this one will do. The pros and cons are similar for the two models.
PROS:
1. Very easy to read, INCLUDING AT NIGHT!
2. Reliable time of day.
3. Relatively inexpensive.
4. No need to remove when working.
CONS:
1. The band! I usually replace it, but I am hunkered down at home for now. It does adjust, even for my VERY small wrist. And I find it adequately comfortable and OK in appearance. The biggest issue, for me is that the second loop — the one farthest from the closure — breaks quickly.
2. The life of the battery tends to be about one year (based on the record of how often I replace it). I think it should be longer. A warranty is available, but paying for postage and being without a watch is not worth it for me.
UPDATE after one week: the band has become more pliable, and I can see that I will be asking my husband to drill a hole so that I can shorten the band a little more.
Overall, it serves my needs in a tried and true way, and I will reorder (but model T20071) when this one wears out.

Might I suggest the watch be sent in a BOX packaging rather than a manilla shipping envelope. As a result I recieved a badly damaged box and part of the watch stand was sticking out of it. Delivery expectations are NOT met with this item. If I could 1 star for the way it was received, I would. This grows my worry that the watch wont work for long in the possibility it could've been damaged by lack of care for shipping and handling. (I did read reviews where the watch quit working after 2 months of being used and I wonder if the way the package was handled during shipment could have related to it--- we will see if my watch makes it past 2 months)
You have to hold down the button on the side to get the indiglo light to work. Not a problem.
The watch is small amd cute. It will be very useful for my clinical rotations.
I didnt test water resistance and don't plan to test it.

I have no idea why this stripe is there to begin with. I am annoyed at myself for not exchanging it for another one because it bothers me. I like the watch and it is a good casual watch to wear with jeans. The leather band is nice and is long enough for larger wrists. That being said, when on, the watch has a tendency to shift so it doesn't sit flat on the wrist. Not sure why that is. So for that reason, and the terrible packaging, I'm only giving it four stars.

...at least for those I bought in Sept 2017. The watch kept accurate and easy-to-read time for 3 years; it's only in the last several months that it has been losing about a minute/day or two. This happened suddenly and was probably the result of too hard a hit or drop. I will order the same again.
The band, though, started losing its navy color within a few months and looked embarrassingly awful after a year. So I ordered a replacement band* , which has held all its color for two years (it looks like new). This band also has the advantage of being available in multiple sizes, and I was able to get one that perfectly fit my small wrist. (The "women's" band that had come with the watch was much too big and I had to cut some off, which looked bad since the navy color didn't go all the way through the material.)

It was shipped inside a flimsy cardboard box -- the Timex package - almost paperboard box and inside a shipping envelope that was easily flexed - not a good idea as it arrived with the box crushed and the stand in pieces. Fortunately, the watch itself survived and is working. This was definitely an Amazon issue not a Timex issue.

Ok, maybe I shouldn’t remove a star but it just shouldn’t be this difficult!

UPDATE: I did not use this immediate but that should not affect it. I wore it twice and then I noticed it was losing time so I had to change the BATTERY. Really??!! never before had I had to change out a battery first thing. Taking the back off of this watch is one thing, putting it back on is a Royal pain. I have been thru no less than 8 guys in my dept trying to press it back on with no luck. I might get to wear it again. UGH!!

am a huge timex fan and have worn them all my life. unfortunately, this watch stopped working just past the 90 day warranty. i really liked it. i should have tried to get a replacement but decided to not use a watch. i did try to get it repaired, but couldn't be fixed. really need to start wearing one again, so will reorder in hopes next one will work as my other timex watches have. they usually last many, many years.

My intentions for this watch was for everyday use. It appeared to be exactly the same as my Timex that died...30mm, leather band, easy to read, etc, It was not. The face was larger and the strap longer for my small wrist and hand. I was disappointed as it is a beautiful watch. I realize , too, that watches today have much bigger faces which are not appealing to me and rather cumbersome on my wrist. Fortunately, I found a Timex just like my old one so all ended well.

It's meant to be an oversized watch, but the band-to-face proportion is out of kilter with the photo, with a larger watch face on a narrow band. The band is very long...I wore it farther up on my arm in the next to last hole and there was way too much excess band. The main problem, however is the watch is not well made. One of the tabs on the band has a staple or something making scratch marks on the inside of my wrist/arm. Uncomfortable and disappointing. And at $40, there are much cheaper watches out there if you want a watch that's well,... cheap. What did they do with the "old" Timex??

The watch arrived yesterday and I'm afraid to use it. The box was torn in several places and taped shut, meaning at least one other person has received it and returned it. I'm still on the fence about unpacking it and removing the plastic cover, as I'm inclined to return it, then order it again in the hopes that I receive a watch that hasn't been opened by someone else. I didn't realize the band would be so much narrower than the watch and don't know how I feel about that. I've worn Timex watches for years and have been very happy with them. One of them even went through a complete wash cycle and worked perfectly. I especially like the ability to light the watch in the middle of the night to check the time, so I really want this one to work out for me. Just can't give a positive review at this stage, hence the low overall rating.

So my watch is less than a year old (9 months), and the inside face of the watch has a cloudy finish on it and it’s blurry. The band did not last long either. I have only worn Timex watches and this one is disappointing. My other watches lasted at least two years. I expected more from Timex. This watch was delivered a little less than two months ago, and has already stopped working. I reset the time, push the pin back in, and the hands will move for a few minutes and then stop again. I love the look of the watch and usually like Timex, but there’s no reason within two months of having gotten this watch that it should be failing, given the gentle wear it’s been subjected to. The light feature still works perfectly, which makes me believe that it’s not a battery issue. Be cautious in buying, your watch may be a lemon and you may not realize it until just after the return period ends.

This watch had a plastic thing that went all the way around the stem. I had to use fine scissors to remove it. I hope this was a fluke because the stem would not push in when the device was removed. As I said I hope this was a fluke.

The size of this watch is somewhere between a typical ladies watch and a typical mans watch. It is very easy to read and glows at night when you push the stem. I love this feature of Timex watches. The strap on this watch is large, a bit too big for my wrists. It is also stiff. I have had the watch for a couple of weeks and am still waiting for the strap to conform to my wrist. I might get a different strap if this one doesn't work.
I lowered my rating from 4 stars to 2 stars because the watch stopped working within less than 1 year and the strapped faded badly.

I only wore my watch while washing my hands, and even took it off to shower. However, it still got water damage. The first time, the light stopped working and it could not tell time accurately. I got it fixed since it was still in warranty, but about 3 weeks later it got water damage again (also only wore it while washing hands). This time, the light would flicker when pressed, but it still told time well. I love the look of this watch, but I really do not want to take it off to wash my hands, which I shouldn't have to do with the 30m water resistance. Also, the strap develops a stench, but it was easy to get and use a replacement strap.

Second indaglo watch I’ve purchased in the past 6 months. The last one didn’t keep time from the moment It was opened; which unfortunately for me was after the 30 days return time, as it was a gift. Have always liked the watches in the past so decided to try the easy read version this time. Not much better. Kept time for about a day. Since then it’s been on again off again. What’s especially odd is that the light on both watches work just not keeping time. Very disappointing because I’ve been wearing various versions of timex indaglo watches for over 20 years and this is probably my last purchase.

The plastic watch insert to keep the watch hand from running was missing; therefore, it was pulled by someone else as the watch was running. The back of the watch face was scratched and the leather band itself was stretched, indicating that someone else had been wearing this watch. This watch is being returned with a refund expected.

Not an everyday watch, and in 10 months the band is coming apart, and the glass cracked. For no reason. No memory of it being impacted. It never rests glass side down. Must have been the slightest impact to it. I went to do a warranty claim, but Timex does not warranty it of the glass is cracked.
Even without the glass issues, the band will cost me $20 to replace. Or about $10 to ship to Timex.
The watch is $30. Not worth the hassle. Total waste of money. Piece of total junk.

I purchased a timex watch for myself and my husband in December. After several weeks, my watch stopped working so I had a new battery put in it. Well it stopped working again. So I returned it and got a replacement watch. I received it in January and guess what? It stopped working but did not discover it until February 6th, one day after I was eligible to return it. My husband has not had any trouble with his. I do not recommend the women's timex watch if you really need a reliable watch. Very disappointed because I really liked it.
